Frequently Asked
About the Artwork
Are your artworks signed and do they come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes, all of my work is signed and dated. Each piece also comes with a certificate of authenticity to verify its originality and quality.
What materials do you use for your paintings?
I primarily use acrylic paints, some spray paints, often on raw canvas, sometimes on gessoed canvas. The hardwood stretcher bars are custom-made by a master carpenter and are 3 inches deep, giving the pieces a substantial, gallery-quality presence. Framed works are set in 2-inch deep hardwood floater frames.
Are your artworks ready to hang?
Yes! All paintings arrive ready to hang with D-rings and wire attached. If you’d prefer, I can also remove the canvas from its stretcher bars and ship it rolled in a tube to reduce shipping costs. You would then need to have it stretched and framed locally.
Do you offer framing services?
The paintings are ready to hang. Raw canvas pieces are stretched over deep hardwood bars, and gessoed works are set in hardwood floater frames. If you're looking for custom framing, we are happy to recommend trusted local framers.
How should I care for and maintain my artwork?
Proper care ensures your painting remains vibrant for years to come. I provide care instructions with every piece, but in general:
- Avoid direct sunlight and extreme humidity.
- Gently dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use cleaning sprays or chemicals.
What is the best way to display my artwork?
Choose a well-lit space that complements the energy of the piece, avoiding direct sun or excessive moisture. Trust your intuition, if you’d like guidance, feel free to reach out to me at cronebeautyart@gmail.com.
