The Art

Portals, Spells, and Quiet Protests

These original abstract paintings aren't merely decorative.

They're created by contemporary Canadian artist Gabrielle St. George as visual talismans for intentional living. They're incantations in paint—designed to shift the energy of a space and the people within it.

Some are fierce. Some are soft. All are rebellions against erasure, conformity, and the myth that beauty should exist without purpose.

Two Bodies of Work

The Zodiac Series — Companions to the Books

Twelve abstract paintings, each aligned with a zodiac sign and a Crone Beauty book. Visual talismans for women walking the path of reinvention. Releasing 2027.

Available as one-of-a-kind originals and affordable fine-art prints. We each carry all twelve signs within us—their influence runs far deeper than sun, moon, and rising.

Commissions & Gallery Work — For All Collectors

Beyond the Zodiac series, I create standalone pieces and custom commissions for collectors of all ages and identities. These works live in homes, studios, offices, and healing spaces across North America.

If you're drawn to nature-infused abstraction, quiet symbolism, and art that feels alive, this work is for you.

The Process

Every piece begins in gratitude. I gather stories from the land—lichen claiming rock, roots stitching soil—and translate them into paint. Crystals, herbs, and essential oils are woven into the medium, each chosen for energetic resonance. Every layer is intentional. Every brushstroke, a spell.

Textures echo resilience. Colors hum. Peace symbols appear—sometimes bold, often hidden—silent invitations to gather, resist, and reimagine.

This is beauty with purpose. Art as activism. Paintings that don't just hang—they hum.

Collecting the Work

Originals are available by direct inquiry and include certificates of authenticity detailing materials, intention, and symbolism.

Zodiac prints release monthly alongside the books—affordable entry into the Beautiful Rebellion.

Commissions are limited and considered case by case. If you have a space that needs shifting or an intention to translate into form, let's talk.

What Collectors Say:

"I swear the painting changes depending on my mood. Some days it's fierce, some days it's comforting. It's like having a living thing on my wall."

"I bought it for the colors, but I love it for the energy. There's something about it that makes my whole office feel different. Better."

"It's the first piece of art I've ever owned that feels like it's working WITH me, not just decorating a space."

Where art, magic, and resistance converge.
